Horse Pellets For Maintenance And Training Of Mature Horses.

This feed is made from clean, dry ground alfalfa hay, cane molasses, and a vitamin-mineral supplement designed for Southwest conditions. Designed for maintenance or lightly worked horses, Estrella Brand is adequate to meet nutritional needs without further supplements, grain, or additional roughage.

Feeding Instructions:
Estrella Brand Horse Pellets are formulated for mature horses. Feed at a rate of 1.5 to 2% of body weight per day depending on body condition and work intensity. For example, a 1000 lb horse would receive 20 lb of Estrella Brand Horse Pellets per day. It is recommended to divide the total daily intake (i.e. 20 lb) into a minimun of two (2) equal feedings (10 lb in the a.m. and 10 lb in the p.m.). In addition, all horse should have free choice salt and water.

Lakin Lite horse pellets are designed for mature horses or those in light work. These horses need a steady supply of vitamins and minerals but do not require the extra calories found in many commercial feeds. Lakin Lite’s special formulation keeps mature horses in good condition and supports a healthy immune system.

Horse Pellets For Maintenance And Training Of Mature Horses.

This product is formulated for horses at hard work or being fitted for show. The roughage portion of Equidyne is identical to Estrella Brand, and cracked corn (15%) and a complete vitamin-mineral package have been added. Grain content remains low enough to minimize chances of founder and other metabolic disorders. To fuel performance horses or bring halter horses to absolute peak condition, additional grain may be supplemented.

Complete Horse Pellets For Growth And Breeding Of Horses.

This pellet is a complete diet for the growing foal and pregnant mare. Dyna Foal protects against nutritionally caused bone disease while permitting optimum growth. It is made of select alfalfa fortified with phosphorus to achieve a correct calcium:phosphorus ratio. Dyna Foal also contains copper, zinc, and other trace elements identified by recent research as essential for healthy skeletal growth.

Feeding Instructions:
Dyna Foal Complete Horse Pellets are formulated for growing horses as well as pregnant and lactating mares. Pregnant mares (last 110 days of pregnancy) and lactating mares should be fed 2 to 2.5% of body weight per day of Dyna Foal Complete Pellets depending on body condition. Nursing foals should have free access (separate from the mare) to Dyna Foal Complete Horse Pellets. Weanlings should be fed 2 to 2.5% of body weight per day, and yearlings should be fed 1.7 to 2% of body weight per day of Dyna Foal Complete Horse Pellets. It is recommended to divide the total daily intake into a minimum of two (2) equal feedings. In addition, all horses should have free choice salt and water.
